Imani Winds’ Legacy Commissioning Project (LCP) commemorates the ensemble’s tenth anniversary through the commissioning of ten compositions by established and emerging composers of color. For more information and to sponsor a commission click here.

Imani Winds awarded grant from Chamber Music America’s Classical Commisioning Program towards LCP composer, Simon Shaheen. The internationally-acclaimed Palestinian Oud and Violinist will write a collaborative piece for premiere in 2010.

Imani Winds will be teaching a one week seminar culminating in a collaborative concert in New York City August 2010. Courses will be open to all players 18 yrs + who want to learn the art of chamber music with the only full-time touring woodwind quintet in the world.
