Marian Anderson Collections University of Pennsylvania Library. Marian Anderson’s repertory included well over one hundred spirituals. She clearly favored the arrangements of African American composers Harry T. Burleigh, Nathaniel Dett, and Hall Johnson, whose names appeared most often on her concert programs.
