Standouts of the disc are the original composition, Titilayo, by Jeff which is a call and response fanfare coupled with an unmistakable Jeff Scott groove in an atypical 5/4 meter. Also, Jeff has arranged two standard Piazzolla masterpieces for the quintet. Fuga E Misterio which and the haunting milonga, Oblivion. VColeman has remixed the Imani Winds classic Umoja, by adding percussion and also done an arrangement of the jazz standard Afro Blue. Without doubt this number allows the ensemble to perform in a way that a wind quintet has never done before. Also featured on the disc is a sparkling arrangement of the modern classic, Le Tombeau de Couperin by the impressionistic master Maurice Ravel as well as Cinco Danzas Breves, by Mexican born composer Mario Lavista.
